Gotta admit, Fall is my favorite season of the year. I love the cooling temperature, the crispness in the air, the wondrous colors of the changing leaves and their crunch underfoot as I walk along. “Sweater weather.”

My thoughts begin to turn to baking with the rich spices I always associate with Fall: cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and more. Pumpkin and pecan pies, warm apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, spiced cake loaded with walnuts and fruit. Cherry cobbler. I could go on…
