I gave thanks today for family. Those I’m currently surrounded by and those farther away. I gave thanks for the opportunity I have been gifted with to spend this Thanksgiving in Maryland, just outside our nation’s Capitol, and for the opportunities to explore our Capitol in the previous and upcoming days. So thankful that my niece and niece-in-law were able to come down from Philadelphia for a few days, too.
I also gave thanks for friends. There are people who come into one’s life and become family. My loved friends, you know who you are. No matter how far or whether or not time has been spent in each others’ company lately, you are my family. I am thankful for you, more than you know.
Exchanged one pack for another. Temporarily. 🙂
Clockwise from top: Duncan, Tucker, Cody and Jake
While the quality of this photo is hideous, the subjects are dear to me. My niece and niece-in-law relaxing and catching the Eagles/Cowboys game on Thanksgiving afternoon.
So, to all those who celebrate this particular holiday, I wish a happy day of thanks. To everyone, I extend my thoughts for peace and simple joy for each and every moment.
